In his final year at university, Peter Parker volunteers for an experiment to create self-regenerating blood cells. However, due to an admistrative error, some of the left-over blood finds its way to a hospital in England, where it used for a transfusion to save the life of a sixteen year-old girl from Manchester, Anya Corrigan.
