On his 18th birthday, Aaron Corbett begins developing strange abilities. Soon, he learns that he is a Nephilim, the offspring of an angel and a human woman. Not only that, but Aaron is the Redeemer, the one Nephilim able to absolve fallen angels of their sins and allow them to return to Heaven. With the help of fallen angel Camael and his dog Gabriel, Aaron must face Verchiel, the evil commander of the Powers, come to terms with his angelic nature, and embrace his destiny.
