In the land of Albion, a young boy is separated from his family following a brutal Bandit raid on his home of Oakvale. He is found by Maze, a wise old wizard who takes the boy to the Heroes' Guild, where the boy trains to become a Hero. Upon reaching adulthood, the boy sets out to be the Hero he was trained by the Guild to be, and learns of his destiny to either be the savior of Albion...or become the greatest evil the land will ever know.
