MARIAN: VENDETTA is a British action drama TV series, which is a new spin on the legend of ROBIN HOOD. MARIAN: VENDETTA follows Lady Marian of Kensington, wife of the outlawed thief and archer Robin Hood (After Robin and Marian got married) as she sets off on a personal vendetta against the evil Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham, who have assassinated Robin and King Richard the Lionheart and slaughtered Robin's band of Merry Men, in retalliation for foiling their scheme to steal the throne of England and to murder King Richard the Lionheart in the Holy Land, during the Third Crusade. Not alone in her quest for vengeance, Marian is joined by her loyal companions: Resourceful archer Thomas Whitsun. Will Scarlet's independent and fiesty sister Natasha Scarlet. Outlaw and son of a blacksmith Vaisey White and Marian's cousin, outlawed nobleman and horse rider Sir Sean of Waddington. Not only Marian has a score to settle, Marian and her companions must also fight Prince John and The Sherriff's allies: Father Assisi, the corrupt leader of a order of masked warrior monks/mercenaries called ''The Faceless Monks'' and Geraldine, sister of The Sheriff of Nottingham's chief henchman Guy of Gisborne (Killed by Robin) and former lover of Sir Sean. As Marian and her companions must crush Prince John and The Sheriff of Nottingham, once and for all and end their reign of evil and cruelty that continues to infest England like a plague...
