Clayton Riddell must get home, travelling from Boston, Massachussetts to Maine, New England to find out if his little boy is okay or if he's turned into one of them, the phone crazies.
On his terrifying journey cross country, it becomes all too clear that the survivors of the Pulse, the remains of humanity, are being forced into the dark; controlled, enslaved and eventually replaced by a new master race. But is there time enough to get home before Clayton Riddell can accept his fate and call it quits?
