RIFT: REALM INTELLINGENCE FIGHTER TASKFORCE is a action adventure fantasy TV series which is a crossover of STREET FIGHTER and MORTAL KOMBAT. RIFT chronichles the adventures of RIFT (Realm Intelligence Fighter Taskforce), an elite group of martial-artists and fighters led by Raiden, god of thunder and Major William F. Guile of the United States Air Force. The other members of RIFT are: Shaolin monk Liu Kang. Martial Artist Ryu Hoshi. Sonya Blade, Lieutant of the United States Special Forces. Major Jackson ''Jax'' Briggs, Sonya's friend and superior officer. Ken Masters, Ryu's rival. Chun-Li, undercover Interpol agent. Johhnny Cage, Hollywood actor. Princess Kitana, Princess of Edenia. Balrog, African-American Boxer and Edmond Honda, Sumo-Wrestler. Often helped and guided by Raiden, god of thunder and protector of the Earthrealm. The RIFT team use their fighting skills, as they set out to defend the Earthrealm and other realms from Shao Khan, the evil Emperor of Outworld and his allie, warlord M. Bison, and their evil henchmen: Sub-Zero, Mercenary Ninja. Scorpion, Sub-Zero's rival. Reptile, Reptilian creature. Sektor, cyborg. Jade, Shao Kahn's assassin. Zangief, Russian Pro Wrestler. Vega, Spanish Cage Fighter. Sagat, one-eyed Muray Thai master. monster Blanka. Sheeva, former protector of Queen Sindel and Kano, crime boss. And save the realms from armageddon...
