TERMINATOR: THE TIME WARRIORS is a sci-fi action adventure drama TV series which is a spin-off of the TERMINATOR film franchise and is set after TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY and has nothing to do with TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES TERMINATOR SALVATION and TERMINATOR THE SARAH CONNOR CRONICHLES. The year is 2015, John and Sarah Connor are now living in hiding in Mexico, 20 years after they successfully destroyed ''Cyberdine'' and prevented ''Skynet'' from wiping out the human race, and both John and Sarah are plagued by horrible nightmares about the war in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, where John will lead the human resistance in a war against Skynet and the machines. But the nightmare is not over and Sarah is killed by a Terminator who tries to kill John, but is destroyed by a female Terminator and John learns that they did not change the future and in 2 hours, Skynet will begin the nuclear war and there is nothing they can do to stop it. John and the female Terminator decide to escape the nuclear war and they decide to travel through time to the year 2029 and make a deseperate stand against Skynet. But something goes wrong and the time displacement equipment accidentally sends them back in time to the year 1982. Soon joined by their allies: Danny, son of Miles Dyson in the year 2004. Kyle Reese, the soldier who protected Sarah in 1984, in the year 2020. Detective Hal Vukovich, a police officer killed by the T101 in 1984, in the year 1982. Kate Brewster, John's future wife, in the year 2002 and Sarah, 6-months before John was concieved in 1984. John, the female T101 and their companions travel back and fourth through time, as they are relentlessly pursued across time by Terminator Androids sent by Skynet to kill John, as John and his companions try to find a way to get to 2029 set out to prevent Skynet from wiping out the human race and John must accept his destiny and also eliminate any possible links to the future...
