After a small meteor attack on New York City, the government discovers that even more meteors are on the way, although these will be of catastrophic proportion. The government assembles together the worlds finest heroes into a team called The Avengers. This team is comprised of Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-man, The Incredible Hulk ,War Machine, and Mr. Fantastic. Fresh out of jail, Magneto learns of this and attempts to foil the governments plans and allow the meteors to hit Earth, believing that we should all just accept our fate. The government sends in Bruce Banner to infiltrate Magnetos camp, but soon finds himself questioning his own duties. Will the Avengers be torn? Or will they unite and step up to the challenge? Our darkest hour will be their finest.
