NAYLOR AND DAUGHTER is a 45-Minute BBC Comedy Crime Mystery Television Series. Aging police detective Charles Naylor decides to retire from the London Police Force, after being on the force for 25 years and after his wife Emily dies. As a gamble to pay off his debts, Charles and his only-daughter Claire, who has inherited her father's detective-spirit, decides to set up their own private buisness, as a father-daughter private detective team, as they offer the police and their clients their services, in investigating cases that deal with murder, kidnapping, robberies and missing people. Charles and Claire are not alone and are often helped by Claire's older boyfriend, the hansome Scottish police detective D.I. David MacBryde and his young partner, D.I Max Sutton, and Charles keeps in touch with his former partner, tough DC Graham Harper and former superior officer Chief Inspector Alan Lockwood, who disapproves of Charles involving Claire in police cases, and Charles tries to spend more with Claire and Claire's 10-year old son Charlie, who sometimes lives with his father, Claire's Ex Boyfriend, Paddy Cotton...
