MARINUS is a epic new 22-part Fantasy Adventure Television series, based on the 1964 DOCTOR WHO Adventure ''The Keys of Marinus''. ''2000 Years ago in the world of Marinus, a computer called ''The Conscience of Marinus'', was created, and ''The Conscience of Marinus'' kept law and order across Marinus and controlled the minds and impulses of all those who lived in Marinus. Until, The alien humanoids known as The Voord, led by the evil Yartek, found a way to resist ''The Conscience of Marinus'' and threatened to control ''The Conscience of Marinus'' and rule the world. To Prevent, ''The Conscience of Marinus'' from falling into the hands of Yartek and the Voord, The Five Keys of ''The Conscience of Marinus'' were removed and hidden in diffrent locations across Marinus, so ''The Conscience of Marinus'' could never fall into the hands of Yartek and the Voord. Now, the time has come for the Keys to be found..'' On a deseperate quest to find the Five Keys, so they can control ''The Conscience of Marinus'' and control Yartek and the Voord. Arbitan, scientist and guardian of ''The Conscience of Marinus'', sends his daughter Sabetha, together with the brave servant Altos, Eprin, Alto's friend and Darrius, Arbitan's trusted friend and fellow scientist, as they travel across Marinus (Across the ''Sea of Acid'' to ''The City of Morphoton'' and beyond) in search of the five keys, before Yartek and the Voord take possession of the Keys and use ''The Conscience of Marinus'' to rule Marinus, and the minds and controls impulses of everyone living across the entire world of Marinus...
