A MAN CALLED BLADE is a TV Movie which is a remake of the classic 1977 Western MANNAJA starring late Italian action star Maurizo Merli. After capturing the outlaw Burt Craven, A Bounty Hunter known only as Blade (Who uses a hatchet instead of a gun) arrives in the mining town Suttonville to claim the bounty on Burt Craven's head. Blade is soon, hired by the town's wheelchair bound mayor McGowan to track down his missing daughter Deborah who has been kidnapped by his corrupt right-hand-man Voller and a band of outlaws he is secretly working for, that are looting the local silver mines. Caught up in Suttonville's affairs, Blade finds that Voller and the outlaws are not the only problem, he has unfinished buisness with McGowan himself, who killed Blade's father Gerald Merton when he was a boy. With a score to settle with McGowan. Blade sets off to rescue Deborah and takes on Voller and the outlaws who are out to gun him down...
