HOLLYWOOD CONSPRIACY by Daniel Williamson (Characters and Original Idea)

HOLLYWOOD CONSPRIACY is a one-off 9-part 60-minute American Crime Mystery series, which is also a black comedy. Elektra Jones is a gorgeous private detective, who used to be a a small-time actress who acted in Beer Commericals. In Hollywood, California, Elektra's life is turned upside-down, when Elektra's Ex boyfriend, actor Sascha Ryan, star off a series of low-budget science fiction action films, shows up and hires Elektra to investigate the death of his close friend, screenwriter, Brett Copeland, which has shocked Hollywood. Copeland who was the writer behind Sascha's low-budget Sci-fi franchise ''Moonhattan Cop'', was found dead in the Men's Room, shot in the back of the head, during a Science Fiction convention. Investigating the case, Elektra discovers at the crime scene, a .223 bullet which came from a silencer, which is found in Copeland's jacket pocket. After learning Copeland commited suicide, when Sascha discovers his suicide letter at his house. Elekta begins to believe, that Copeland didn't take his own life and believes he was murdered, And is proven correct, when Sascha realises that it isn't Copeland's handwriting and the silencer has no fingerprints and there were no bullets in the silencer. With help from forensics expert Cody Harrington, Elektra and Sascha set out to uncover the truth and solve the mystery. But Elektra becomes suspicious of Rita Donatelli, blonde actress and Sascha's co-star who dated Copeland before he died, Donatelli's hunky boyfriend, Action star Dennis Bauer, who was sleeping with Rita, Cocaine-addicted Producer and Director Henry Cockburn, who produced and directed Copeland's ''Moonhattan Cop'' films and the previous installment, ''Moonhattan Cop 4: Mr. Moon goes to the Hollywood Holocaust'' which went straight-to-DVD and is one of the worst films ever made, Shane Langston, Copeland's agent and Gil Chamberlain, Copeland's nemesis, who directed Elektra in the Beer Commericals. Elektra also becomes suspicious of Sasha, who learnt of Copeland's death, after hearing about on the Internet and starred in all 4 ''Moonhattan Cop'' films, in the leading role as futuristic cop Brick Moon. With Donatelli, Bauer, Cockburn, Langston, Chamberlain and Sascha all under suspcion. Elektra finds there is more to the case than meets eye and finds nothing is what it seems and Elektra supects a cospriacy behind Copeland's murder and ''Moonhattan Cop 4: Mr. Moon goes to the Hollywood Holocaust'' and could be right...
