DANDARR: BARBARIAN OF THE FUTURE is a sci-fi fantasy adventure cartoon series set in the 80000th century in a distant star system. Dandarr is a mighty space warrior of the planet Barbaria and the last of his race, a race of warriors called The Barbarions. Dandarr's race were wiped out in a galactic war against the evil cyborg warlord Ogata Borg and his warrior robots The Zarbots from the volcanic planet Zandax and Barbaria was destroyed. Armed with his mysterious weapon ''The Blade Blaster'', Dandarr and his companion: Tan Altor, space pilot and Captain of the space barge ''Journey's End'' not only battles Ogata Borg and the Zarbots, but also battles Ogata Borg's rival, Seska, queen of the Ice planet Thungar and leader of her elite guards The Ice women who has a strong attraction to Dandarr and wants him to join her side and rule the galaxy together. But Dandarr and Altor are never alone and on some ocassions are helped by their trusted friends: the beautiful warrior woman Lylyssa and The Amagons, a race of warrior women who come from the forest planet Anfar, led by Queen Tella, the loyal and cowardly robot Oodie, Oodie's master, the 10000 year old sorcerer Atrix who lives on a remote asteroid and Mangor, the guardian of the galaxy and the beautiful sorceress Princess Lor-Laa, Seska's adopted daughter and rightful heir to the throne of the kingdom of the beautiful planet Guardenshia, who holds the secret behind the origin of The Blade Blaster and Princess Lor-Laa's lover, master laserbowman Prince Galadan, ruler of a fortress city in the skies of Guardenshia who is deeply in love with Lor-Laa who thinks Lor-Laa is in love with Dandarr...
