CATHERINE AND NICK is a Romantic Comedy American British TV movie. Nick Talley is a cocky American exchange student who has been sent to live in London, England for 6 months to study at University, in hoping experiencing life in Britain and getting good grades and keeping him out of trouble might change his behaviour and his attidute towards life. Looking for somewhere to stay until he goes back home to Los Angeles. Nick is invited to stay with working class student Tom McCormack who lives with his single mother Catherine. When Tom goes away with some mates for the weekend to a rock concert in Burningham and Tom is arrested by the police and his driver's license gets stolen after a beer bash with some rock fans and cannot get through to Catherine because of his unpaid phone bill. Nick finds himself keeping Catherine company and Catherine agrees to help Nick with his grades. Getting to know one another, Nick and Catherine become friends and Catherine helps Nick achieve with his grades. But it becomes complicated, as Nick finds himself attracted to Catherine and Catherine begins developing romantic feelings to Nick, they become lovers, much to the disaproval of Catherine's younger sister Wendy who also teaches at University, and everything starts becoming awkard...
