The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan

Gilbert and Sullivan's Epic Operetta in which a young man (Frederic), freed from his indenture to the Pirate King goes out in the world to seek fortune and meets a beautiful young woman (Mabel) and her sisters. He then shuns his middle aged nurse, Ruth, for decieving him into thinking she was beautiful. Frederic has vowed to hunt and kill pirates because even though he was once a pirate he loathes them. The Pirates storm the beach and kidnap Mabel's sisters. Promptly their father the Modern Major General arrives and fools the pirates into thinking he is an orphan as they vowed never to kill or harm an orphan. Thus is the plot of one of the wittiest musicals in the english theatre. The result of this turn of events I leave to you to discover.
