Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite

Nothing, a boy of 15 living in suburban Maryland, feels alienated by the artificial, sunny world he's forced to live in, and for good reason; he's the unknown son of a terribly beautiful and malevolent vampire named Zillah.
