William H Macey is the best choice to play Rorscach. In the graphic novel, he is described as "monotone," and Macey is good at a dead-pan performance. He not only looks like Rorshach
he's the appropriate age as well.

I'm starting to like the Brad Dourif as Rorschach idea, especially because of his appearance in an X-Files episode, I forgot what it was about, but he was very Rorschach-esque in it.

I was thinking if they do a "Diff'rent Strokes" movie, I think this would be a suitable cast:

Philip Drummond: Keith Carradine
Arnold Jackson: Kyle Massey
Willis Jackson: Romeo
Kimberly Drummond: Ashley Tisdale
Mrs. Garret: Estelle Harris

He's the right age, right height (5' 06), has got the right look (unconventional, not typically Hollywood pretty boy), and jeez... can he DO intense and creepy! :

DOUG HUTCHISON as RORSCHACH in the WATCHMEN movie!

With a varied body of work behind him, on stage and screen (he's more than proved his acting chops), the highly talented actor who gave us The X Files's fearfully flexible flesh-eater Eugene Tooms, and The Green Mile's slimily sadistic guard Percy (smooshes Mr Jingles, remember? SONOFABITCH!) is THE ideal choice to portray everybody's favourite personality disordered, finger snappin' vigilante loon Walter Kovacs, aka Rorschach.

INTERESTED in the role and has already got his agent on the case!

Go Google DOUG HUTCHISON RORSCHACH and see just how widespread the campaign to get Doug THE role of a lifetime has grown already, and witness the volume of support that it's attracting from true fans of the original WATCHMEN comic series/graphic novel - add your own voice here, at the WATCHMEN casting poll, or at any one (or all!) of many other forums running similar threads.

Just this once, let's see if the fans CAN make a difference and get the movie makers to take notice and act upon our collective wishes - Doug Hutchison will do the role of Rorschach and the WATCHMEN movie as a whole proud!
