The wordily titled, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins has as female lead. Another Sarah Connors, you ask? Nope, Moon Bloodgood will play a tough female member of the resistance. Can we say 'love interest?' Her (rumored) time in Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li should buff her up a bit for the role as well.
She joins Anton Yelchin, Christian Bale, and Josh Brolin. Check previous posts here and here on the movie.

Variety is reporting that Billy Crudup will play J. Edgar Hoover with Johnny Depp as John Dillinger in a new Michael Mann crime drama, Public Enemies. Wooo! Wasn't Dillinger the guy who made the tiny guns? Imdb lists Christian Bale, Marion Cotillard, Channing Tatum, David Wenham, Giovanni Ribisi, Rory Cochrane, and Stephen Dorff also in the cast.
And. AND! As if that weren't enough historical figures casting news, Thomas Hayden Church will be playing Walter Keane, an artist in the 50s and 60s who painted children with big eyes, in the aptly named "Big Eyes." Take that Da Vinci!

Christian Bale is the new John Connor... It's getting to be like the angsty, emo version of Bond...
Supposedly Josh Brolin will be the new Terminator. I hope he doesn't tax his acting ability with that role. Too bad they didn't pick Javier Bardem. A robot with that haircut would be killer! Get it? Killer?
